Acrylic on canvas. Painted floating wooded frame. 33cm x 33cm
This one reminds me of the time I drove solo from Darwin to Melbourne, days of watching the landscape slowly change colour with the light.
At sunrise everything looked soft and pink, by midday it was blinding red dirt and electric blue sky, then dusk would flatten it all out again.
You’d spot the odd critter along the way, but mostly it was shrubs, bugs on the windscreen, long roads and skies that never looked the same twice.
