Hello!

I’m Kat Tillman — an artist, designer, and muralist based in Melbourne, originally from a coastal town called Thirroul in Wollongong. I grew up surrounded by salt air, rolling hills, and a whole lot of imagination. My mum always encouraged me to paint, and from a young age, I saw creativity in everything.

My work is bold, playful, and often a little bit cheeky — much like the stories and characters that inspire it. I draw from real life, nostalgia, and the in-between moments that tend to stick. Whether it’s on canvas, a giant wall, or a T-shirt, I love using colour and humour to connect with people and spark joy.

I’ve always had a curious mind and a restless spirit — I’ll try anything once. That sense of adventure runs through everything I create. Over the years, I’ve worked across branding, illustration, product design, and large-scale murals. I like to keep things moving, follow my instincts, and stay open to the side quests that make life more interesting.
