Interior Mural

Created for Canva’s Collingwood head office, this mural was designed as a playful celebration of the neighbourhood the team calls home.

The artwork takes the form of an illustrated local map, weaving together recognisable Collingwood landmarks, streets and neighbourhood details into a bold, colourful landscape. Rather than creating a literal map, I wanted it to feel like my own interpretation of the area — capturing the character, energy and slightly eclectic nature of Collingwood through colour and illustration.

Familiar landmarks are scattered throughout the piece, giving people little moments of recognition and discovery as they move through the space. The mural connects the office to the world immediately outside its doors, bringing a sense of place and local identity into the workplace.

I loved the idea of taking something functional and familiar — a map — and turning it into something much more playful. A little love letter to Collingwood, painted directly onto the walls of Canva’s Melbourne home.
